“I HAVE SEEN FIRST-HAND THE GREAT WORK THAT HELP FOR HEROES DO FOR OUR WOUNDED SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN. I’M A PASSIONATE SUPPORTER AND I AM REALLY EXCITED TO HAVE THEM AS AN OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNER.”
Mark is a truly fantastic Patron for Help for Heroes and, as the Charity originally started with a fundraising bike ride in 2007 he’s the perfect ambassador for our annual Hero Ride. Mark even met his wife, Peta (also a Patron of H4H!), at an H4H charity cycling event in California! He always has time for ‘the blokes’, the men and women of the Armed Forces; he understands that for many of them, the road to recovery is not a sprint but a long battle for them and their families.
We are thrilled to be an official charity partner for Mark’s first official sportive. We urge all H4H cycling supporters to don their lycra again, support the event and to raise much needed funds for our wounded Heroes.

We are proud to partner with Mark and delighted to be the official charity partner of Mark’s Rise Above Sportive. Mark has been an ambassador of Right To Play since 2009 and has had a huge impact on raising awareness of Right To Play and raising vital funds to support our programmes with children. His belief in the power of sport and play to have a positive influence on children is something we value and share.
By taking part in this exciting event, cyclists will help us make a lasting change to the lives of disadvantaged children across the world.
